Version 1.5.8 is out!

Posted on August 26th, 2020 in News by Mikael

-Updated IFC importer

-New dimensioning tool with center (c/c) snapping for pipes and rebars

Watch the new dimensioning tool

(It is still possible to load .grx-files saved from a previous version of BIMXplorer. However, in order for the new snapping functionality to work corrctly, do a clean import of IFC-files!)

Note #1: VR-mode is currently only supported on NVIDIA graphics cards!

Note #2: "Motion Smoothing" in OpenVR (HTC Vive) may lead to "shimmering" effects. Depending on scene, it may be better to turn this feature OFF!

Note #3: Running BIMXplorer directly from Revit 2020 may lead to periodic frame rate drops (due to Revit background processes). Saving the file (.grx) and open in standalone version of BIMXplorer will solve such issues.
